About Umbrella

Zero-proof cocktail at Umbrella Dry Bar in Raleigh. A cocktail with two layers, one white bubble on top and one brown, in a coupe glass, placed on a table next to a bouquet of white and pink flowers.

Umbrella has helped inform the development of other hospitality projects, while remaining a distinct concept with its own focus and audience.

Today, Umbrella centers on well-made non-alcoholic drinks and spaces designed for social gathering.

Umbrella was created to make non-alcoholic cocktails feel complete.

From the beginning, the focus has been on balance, texture, and flavor — not substitutes or simplifications. Drinks are developed using botanical spirits, bitters, syrups, and fresh ingredients, with the same care and intention you’d expect from a traditional cocktail program.

Umbrella’s work centers entirely on zero-proof beverages. Alongside cocktails, the bottle shop features non-alcoholic spirits, aperitifs, and mixers chosen for depth and versatility, whether you’re mixing at home or serving guests.

Over time, the concept has evolved into a flexible model. Today, Umbrella operates through pop-ups, tastings, partnerships, and private events around the Triangle, while maintaining a retail presence at the Self Care Marketplace in downtown Raleigh.
