Last time we gathered at NoRa Café, it was a sold-out room full of curious sippers and culinary creatives. The air smelled faintly of citrus and berries, with ruby-hued vinegars swirling in glass jars across the tables. There were lots of little moments — a first sip that surprised someone, or that quiet “wait, I could actually make this” look — that made the whole night feel warm and easy.

“Make It, Mix It, Master It” is more than a class — it’s an invitation to get hands-on with the kind of drinks that feel festive without the fallout. Rooted in old-world preservation and modern mixology, we’ll guide you through crafting your own vibrant shrubs and building show-stopping zero-proof cocktails from the ground up.

And just in time for the holidays, we’re bringing it back.

Make It, Mix It, Master It: A Two-Part Non-Alcoholic Experience returns Saturday, November 22 — a moment to prep for the season with new skills, thoughtful takeaways, and a little grounded luxury before the holiday swirl begins.

Choose your path:

  • Shrub Making Only – learn how to create fruit- and spice-infused drinking vinegars using ancient preservation techniques. You’ll bottle your own to take home — perfect as a thoughtful host gift or a unique addition to your own gathering. $29

  • NA Mixology Only – dive deep into layering, texture, and seasonal flavor building as you shake up your own pours with support from our Umbrella bar team. $59

  • Both Classes + Snack Intermission – for those who want the full sensory arc. Start with hands-on shrub making, take a break with a curated nosh board, then head into an immersive mixology session where your homemade shrub becomes a star ingredient. $79

This season’s lineup leans fully into fall: carrot, pumpkin, cranberry, apple, and pomegranate — layered with warm spice, bright acids, and herbal edge.

Whether you’re hosting, traveling, or just want something special for yourself, you’ll leave with recipes, tools, and something you created — ready to share or savor.
